Patriotic Love In Blooms

A late morning wedding was a great spot for a wedding this month, especially since it was held in a garden. Dressed in denim of different shades, the bride and groom exchanged their wedding vows. The variety of flowers added a splash of color. The wedding became a cherished time of seclusion with only a few guests who were present.

The sights and aromas of the blooms of summer are inviting for a garden wedding. The early morning hours through noon are the best times to stage a garden wedding and reception. Later in the day, warmer temperatures provide more sultry afternoons. Shade can be given through having a wedding at a gazebo and parasols. The bride and bridesmaids can have parasels made of Battenburg lace parasels or even paper.

Tulle is often one of the first thoughts to decorate a gazebo with. Since it is both functional and affordable, it can be unrolled for the base of the gazebo, pillars and rafters. It can be swagged around the rafters of a gazebo. Decorated with flowers, seashells and bells can easily make it a conversation place for exchanging vows. The floor of the gazebo can be scattered with flower petals.

Aisles and walkways can be lined with small flowerpots. Bunches of flowers can be tied to the backs of chairs. These can be reserved for the wedding party or immediate family or extended for all of the chairs at the wedding. These are techniques that can be brought to the wedding shower or reception.

Accessories can dress a wedding party and be a splash of color. Red, white and blue are the write colors for 4TH of July weddings and events. The accessories that are popular for weddings are shoes in white, pink and blue along with floppy bonnets and jewlry borrowed from family tradition. Red is an extremely bright color for a wedding. Hues of pink are romantic.

Versatile is a word that can be rearranged for garden weddings. One of the best times of the year to have events in a garden is during the spring and summer months. There are more seeds for wedding and reception plans than the blooms that fill the gardens where they are held. The blue skies of the warm weather months are the only factor that are unpredictable.
